EU business policies and contemporary challenges of European integration

About chair

Monnet wrote in 1954 that “our countries have become too small for today’s world, faced with… America and Russia of today and the China and India of tomorrow”.

This was at a time when Europe represented 37% of global GDP and 13% of the world’s population. Today, the figures are 24% and 7%. It has therefore become even more important that European countries are able to pool their resources and exploit economies of scale.

What
is necessary?

It is necessary in times of crisis to increase capacities and knowledge and work on a unique European mentality because together we are stronger. By establishing the Chair for Teaching European Themes, we gain insight into European themes and strengthen our commitment to the European nation and European Union.

What we
want to provide?

After the pandemic, it is necessary to provide multidisciplinary education so that participants have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive approach to the multidimensional theme of the European Union. With this project, we want to provide an insight into a different tomorrow, Europe after the crisis, to create perceptions of the recovery of the European economy.
